Members of Elemental Theatre Company have written a range of different plays that have been performed by amateur and professional groups. We would love to share these scripts and see them performed by other groups up and down the country. Below we have attached samples of our available scripts, along with a brief synopsis and guide price. Please use the contact form on this page to enquire about performance rights for the scripts.

Scripts from this website may not be distributed elsewhere. All scripts are owned by the writer and may not be performed without express written permission obtained through ETC. Once a request has been submitted for use of the script, you must sign a usage and distribution contact before the full script is released. The individual writer of the show and the Elemental Theatre Company must be credited on any promotion and programme for the show.
Murder at Redrum Manor

Synopsis:
'Murder at Redrum Manor' is a piece of theatre like no other. It is presented as a play within a play. With the real storyline starting from scene 2 onwards, we get to know the amateur actors and backstage crew putting on their new production, set in the 1920's, in the style of Agatha Christie.

When the production comes to a halt due to technical difficulties, the director is murdered. The cast and crew relive the events leading up to the death, in reverse, allowing the audience to work out who the killer is.

Synopsis:
Set at Oldbrook Secondary school. Three boys; Tyler, Xavier and Riley take the audience through a typical day at school for them. In this multi-role play, the boys play themselves, their classmates and their teachers.

Set in a time where Ofsted are looming, budgets are being cut and the school is becoming an academy, there are many twists and turns for the three lovable rouges.
Sleeping Beauty Pantomime

Synopsis:
Princess Beauty is forced to be married to her parents chosen suitor, but she doesn't want to. With the help of her nanny and best friend Dame Pipper-Crit they go on the hunt for true love. Only to find it's been under her nose the whole time.
But the wicked Witch Agatha Gadafi has other plans for Princess Beauty. With the help of Prince Dave and Sparky will they save the kingdom? Will Beauty marry her true love?

JACK AND THE Beanstalk

Synopsis:
Jack is a young and lazy boy from a poor family. When forced into the lowest poverty by the evil Witch Poison Ivy, Jack is forced to sell his best friend Buttercup, the cow. On the way to Market Jack meets an old lady who trades the talented cow for some magic beans. With the help of the good fairy the beans grow an impressive stalk through the sky and past the clouds!
But up in the clouds is an evil Giant, possessed by the witch. The Princess and Buttercup are taken up to the Giant to feed his hunger. But the Giant's Achilles heal is harp music, which puts him instantly to sleep.
Can Jack save the Princess and Buttercup? Will the family become rich? Is Jack going to find true love?
ALADDIN PANTOMIME

Synopsis:
When street rat Aladdin frees a genie from a lamp, he finds his wishes granted. However, he soon finds that the evil has other plans for the lamp -- and for Princess Edith. But can Aladdin save Princess Edith and his love for her after she sees that he isn't quite what he appears to be?

Filled with wonderful one liners and character humour suited, there is something for everyone in this pantomime.

SHE SELLS SEA SHELLS

Synopsis:
Elliot and his girlfriend Julie go for a romantic getaway to the beach. Then Elliot kills himself. This isn’t the first time. For a boy who can never die, suicide becomes a temper tantrum, no matter how traumatising it is for his friends and family. As the past and future threaten to coincide, Elliot finds that an ordinary sea shell may hold the secrets to his immortality.

Our first full length original musical, is a comedy surrounding 2 couples having an affair. Based on the music of Damien Rice, the characters Tom and Amie embark on a love square with devastating results.

Headline News is set in Virginia, America in 1993. This biographical show shows the court proceedings of Lorena and John Wayne Bobbitt. With direct quotes and real life drama, this show gives audiences a new perspective, and new information on one of Headline News biggest stories.
